Crète de la vélière

Day 1: The race will start in Montchavin les Coches, after a few turns of the wheel, direction the singles in the forest to go up to touch the mountain pastures. The terrain will then become more brittle and technical, under the eye of the Vanoise Glaciers perched at over 3000m. Then comes the “beauty-shot” moment on a breathtaking ridge line. But no time to linger because you will have to climb downhill to reach the Bois de Tincave. Then, the singles of the slopes of Jovet will lead you to this mythical summit. From there, you will have to cross a new ridge, with Mont Blanc in sight to arrive at the bivouac site at the Sommet du Fornelet in La Plagne Montalbert.

Bivouac: you have probably understood that, after the amazing day on your bike, the idea is to keep on impressing you. Everything will be done to offer you a warm welcome and make sure that you can make the most of the majestic location: we will transport your belongings from the starting point and provide a tent, bike washing areas, mechanical workshop, supervised bike area, quality catering, festive atmosphere etc. In short, we take care of everything!

vététistes en descente technique en forêt

Day 2: The decisive day, the one where you will have to give your all to win. Leaving the bivouac you will set off for a descent of 900m of negative elevation to Aime. The thighs already tried will have to be full of resources for a climb on the “Versants du Soleil” side, crossing some of the most typical villages of the region. A fast, technical and famous descent (according to all those who have ridden it) will lead again into the valley. From there, a few flat turns of the wheel followed by singles in the forest to finish on the final descent to Montchavin les Coches, the end point of this epic. This is where pilots who have been able to combine technique, mastery of effort … and battery power will be rewarded!
