The Grimpée de La Plagne

 La Grimpée de La Plagne: a steep climb on an open road from the valley up to Plagne Centre.

A dummy start will be take place on the square “Place du café” in Aime la Plagne. A few pedal strokes to warm up and get into position and the clock will start at the Provagnes “aire de chainage” area.

Then you’re all set for 18 km of cycling with a total of 1 300 m of elevation gain and 21 hairpins bends full of joy along the route! You’ll finish the race by elbowing your way through on the last straight leg to the finish line in Plagne Centre.

The race will take place on open roads.

This race is available in both competition and leisure formats. The leisure format is open to participants aged 16yrs +.

The formats are as follows :

  • Competition : Timed with ranking and podium by FSGT category. Open to all types of NON electric bikes.
  • Leisure/amateur: Timed without ranking. Open to all types of bikes, including electric bikes.
